Food shoot with Tien Garden!

Sharon, Director of Tien Garden, approached us to do food photography for the menu of her newly opened restaurant menu. When the  request came in, we thought it would be a cool evening to spend some time with fantastic food, company, conversation and photographs made this one one of our most fun photographic evenings we’ve ever been a part of. Most importantly, the client trusts our skills. That trust is a huge honor for us and we take our work very seriously.

That day, we quickly set up the lightning equipments when we reach, turning a corner of the restaurant into a mini studio.

The clients loved the photos! Sharon and her partners wrote us this letter of appreciation after the shoot, and we’re thrilled with all the good comments! Here is what they say:

“We enjoy working with Benson & Susan Photography. They have demonstrated a perfect combination of cooperation, reliability and creativity. Many times they have been placed under stressful situation due to time constraints where they had to set up complex shots with minimal time for review of ideal shot position. At all times, they have delivered with excellent result. We have used many of their shot for our promotional materials, their photography has also resulted many positive customer feedback for us.

I am happy to recommend Benson & Susan Photography for any photographic project which require creative thinking under excelling pricing and great results.”

Sidra birthday party

It was a family session at the SIA sports club Singapore.

Kids were running around,  catching with one another and grabbing the helium balloons. While the adults catch up with one another, especially with Sidra’s parents who had been away from Singapore for quite sometimes.

It was raining heavily so we started out the party a bit late. It was a lovely, intimate celebration for the family, to be able to gather and celebrate granddaughter ‘s and grandad’s birthday together. Sidra was rather shy at the beginning of the session, however, it went smoothly towards the end of the session as she familiarize the environment and people around her.

Thanks Rachana (Sidra’s mom) for this opportunity to spend the night with you.  Here is a little testimonial from Rachana & Jai (Anchorage, Alaska) after the service:

“We had Benson and Susan do the photography for our daughter Sidra’s 1st birthday party in Singapore, and we were very impressed with their level of professionalism. They arrived on time and were very easy to work with. We received the digital pictures in a very timely manner, and the pictures are exactly how we had envisoned them to be. The pictures were taken in a very candid style while focusing on capturing the exact moment complete with the appropriate expressive emotions. We also enjoyed their level of creativity, and they were very happy to honour ours requests as well. We plan to contact them again for future events.”

Thank you so so much! We hope you like the photos as much as we do:)

Last but not least, happy birthday Sidra!

Keith & Yanling Wedding

After several years together, Keith and Yanling decided to tie the knot with a small wedding brimming with personal touches and gorgeous details. The groom had his challenges during the morning gatecrash session; the bridal party also had their fun teasing each other (brings a smile to my face:D).

The reception and ceremony was held at Skyve Bistro & Bar. The BEFORE the ceremony reception was great because it was filled with 90′s candies and delicious biscuits which every Singaporean grew up with! Having a short and sweet reception before the ceremony really calm the nerves of the couple on this nervous day! Everyone mingled and had a good time, the dinner also gave their families and friends to sit down and enjoy a meal together.… It was perfect..!

Thanks so much Keith & Yanling for sharing your beautiful day with us.  Please enjoy the photos and let them filled you in with all the details:)
